His work has reached thousands of families through advocacy and service initiatives over the last 20 years. Mentored by civil rights titans such as Julian Bond and Hazel Dukes, his extensive background includes serving on the NAACP's National Board and leading efforts for the Children's Defense Fund, Medgar and Myrlie Evers Institute, U.S. Soccer Foundation, Equity and Inclusion Campaign and Conference of National Black Churches.
